A Charitable Year for Freedom with Over £2200 Raised
A Charitable Year for Freedom with Over £2200 Raised for local charities, helping to improve the community that we’re a part of.
2015 was an extremely successful year for Freedom in many senses of the word. In January we set ourselves the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) target to raise £1,700 for an array of wonderful charities chosen by our own staff.
Freedom have always valued the importance of charity work, as it allows us to make an impact on our own community and make a difference to the local charities around us. Charity work also enables our staff to partake in very different tasks, from midnight bike rides to monthly dress down Friday’s; no fundraiser is ever the same at Freedom!
We are delighted to be able to announce that with internal Freedom events alone, we thrashed our target raising a whopping £2276.71 throughout last year.
The money has now been donated to the following charities:
- British Heart Foundation
- Help for Heroes
- Michael Sobell
- Children in Need
- Save the Children
As a result of such a fantastic achievement, Freedom would like to thank everyone who took part and donated. We’re now looking for this year’s charities to raise money for, so if you’d like Freedom to raise money for your charity, feel free to get in contact with us!
